đź’› About Our Founder
Marie Niles is the heart and driving force behind the BeeHIV+ Foundation. A mother, artist, and relentless advocate, Marie was diagnosed HIV-positive and later with stage four cancer. Rather than let her diagnoses define her, she chose to turn her pain into purpose—founding BeeHIV+ as a legacy of love, strength, and radical inclusivity.
Having experienced firsthand the stigma, misinformation, and emotional toll that comes with an HIV diagnosis, Marie created BeeHIV+ to be a safe and empowering space for everyone—not just one group. Her mission is simple: educate, uplift, and bring people together through awareness, music, community, and truth.
Even as she navigates her own health battles, Marie shows up for others—organizing events, designing merch, and spreading messages of hope and prevention. She believes that as long as she has breath, she has purpose.
Marie’s story is not just one of survival—it’s one of giving back and being a miracle of society.
“This foundation is my heartbeat. I may be living with HIV and cancer, but I’m also living with love, with music, with purpose. BeeHIV+ is for everyone. We fight ignorance with education—and we fight silence with celebration.”
— Marie Niles, Founder
